Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Weblo handles enquiry, client and website visitor information.
Last updated: 6 July 2026
1. Who we are
WEBLO LTD (“Weblo”, “we”, “us”) is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16473553, registered office 4 Erin Close, Ilford, England, IG3 8UQ. For the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), WEBLO LTD is the data controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: contact@weblo.co.uk.
2. What personal data we collect
(a) Enquiry details you submit through our contact form, by email or by phone: name, email address, phone number, company name and anything you tell us about your project. (b) Client and project information if you become a client: content and materials you supply, and correspondence about the project. (c) Billing information needed to issue and record invoices: name or company name, billing address and payment reference. We do not store card numbers. (d) Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security purposes.
3. Why we use it and the lawful basis
To reply to your enquiry — legitimate interests. To deliver a project you have commissioned — performance of a contract. To issue invoices and keep accounting records — legal obligation under UK tax and company law. Marketing — we do not send marketing emails unless you have expressly opted in, in which case the basis is consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (website and email hosting, invoicing/accounting software, professional advisers) under contracts restricting what they can do with it, and with authorities where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects: deleted after 12 months. Client project files and correspondence: kept for 24 months after the project ends. Invoices and accounting records: kept for 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year, as required by UK law.
6. Cookies and local storage
See our Cookies Policy for details about the cookie notice and the small local storage preference used to remember your choice. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability. Email contact@weblo.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we would appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we will publish the new version on this page with an updated date.
